Right - now you've admitted it, you've got to get going. Mind you, it is hard to get your 'head straight' for healthy eating. I try not to think of it as 'diet' because as soon as you think of something that you feel you 'can't' have, you want it RollEyes

I was really looking forward to my cast being removed yesterday - another pound off, I thought! - no such luck.

Another 6 weeks wearing the b....y thing. Oh well, I did have a new one and this time I've got a purple leg Scared

I'll have had this bloomin thing on for four and a half months by the time I get rid of it Blink

The foot is healing well (triple arthrodesis) and one side is healed but the other side is much slower. I know it will be all well in the end and I have to be a patient patient! That's stopped my galavanting in the caravan for another couple of months ThumbDown

Keep on you losers.

Warmest wishes, Ann

Feeling very pleased with myself - lost 2.5 lbs this week. Had to give myself a good talking too as I put on a pound last week RollEyes

Anyway, there is always another day and I kicked myself up the bum and got back on track.

I find that writing everything down is the only way for me. I can't believe how many little mouthfuls a person can take without writing it down Blink

How is everyone doing ?

I want to join you all in this weight loss thing! About 6 months ago I lost a stone just from eating more healthily and less. Then when I got depressed I put it all back on and more...
How do you all do it and keep it off? My weight is all over the place and I'm going on holiday to France in July aswell as Belgium in 3 weeks!
My mum has a better figure than me! LOL

oh do join us

we weigh in each monday post what we lost or not,ask encouragemtn etc.
i lost all my excess weight and put it all abck on when ra came ut of remission.

so now im back to losing it all again.
well we can drink lots water, extra vegtables,no lots fatty or sugary things.
eat 3 square meals a day, make treats into healthy one such as fruit, low cal treats and not to often.

if you drink milk switch to skimmed milk, brown or oat bread, brown pasta lovely.
sure others will fill in what they do.for me white meats such as chicken no skin, turkey all grilled no oil in cooking, fish oily good for omega 3,and beans, lentils etc.

oh and exercise most important but within limits of how ra is.
not when in flare.
walks,swimming.

good luck for tomorrow hannah.
